Chi ha trionfato con un trofeo (o sette)? Beh è arrivato il momento di scoprirlo, perché sono stati gli Emmy più strani di sempre, tutto questo a causa della pandemia!!
La notte più brillante dell’anno dell’industria televisiva, alias Primetime Emmy Awards, quest’anno è sembrata molto diversa, vista la pandemia senza fine. Il conduttore del 2012 e del 2016, Jimmy Kimmel, è stato letteralmente licenziato per presentare di nuovo i festeggiamenti, questa volta dallo Staples Center per lo più vacante di LA, con i vincitori che hanno accettato i premi in remoto, virtualmente e digitalmente.
La prima – e la più grande – storia della serata è arrivata per gentile concessione dei nostri amici canadesi, in particolare la commedia ricca di stracci di Pop TV Schitt’s Creek , che aveva ottenuto 15 nomination. Le star Dan Levy , Eugene Levy , Catherine O’Hara e Annie Murphy hanno tutte hanno trionfato nelle loro categorie di recitazione, diventando il primo spettacolo a portare a termine quell’impresa, mentre Dan ha aggiunto alla sua notte davvero impressionante vincendo nelle categorie di scrittura e regia.
