Oppenheimer di Christopher Nolan è stato il grande vincitore dei BAFTA Film Awards 2024. La cerimonia ha avuto luogo domenica (18 febbraio) alla Royal Festival Hall di Londra. David Tennant, star di Doctor Who , è stato l’ospite.
Oppenheimer ha vinto sette premi, tra cui miglior film, miglior regista (Christopher Nolan), miglior attore e attore non protagonista (Cillian Murphy e Robert Downey Jr.) e migliore colonna sonora originale (Ludwig Göransson).
Poor Things di Yorgos Lanthimos ha vinto cinque premi, tra cui quello per la migliore attrice (Emma Stone). The Zone of Interest di Jonathan Glazer ne ha raccolti tre. The Holdovers di Alexander Payne ne ha presi due.
Due singoli sono stati i doppi vincitori della serata: Nolan (miglior regista e miglior film, come produttore) e Glazer per The Zone of Interest (miglior film britannico e miglior film non in lingua inglese).
