La 75esima edizione dei Primetime Emmy Awards si è tenuta lunedì sera, in una cerimonia condotta da Anthony Anderson (black-ishWe Are Family) e trasmessa su Fox, in diretta dal Peacock Theatre di Los Angeles.

Dirigendosi verso la cerimonia ritardata dello sciopero di Hollywood, Succession della HBO  era in testa alla classifica con 27 nomination totali. Nella cerimonia di lunedì sera, la corsa d’addio del dramma familiare disfunzionale ha ottenuto sei grandi vittorie, tra cui quella per il miglior dramma e le due categorie di attori principali.

Anche The Bear di FX/Hulu , idoneo per la sua prima stagione, ha ottenuto sei vittorie lunedì sera (su sette categorie totali), tra cui quella per la migliore commedia, l’attore principale e in entrambe le categorie di recitazione non protagonista.

E tra i contendenti di serie limitate/film TV, BEEF di Netflix – che è stato dannatamente imbattibile in questa stagione di premi – ha ottenuto tre grandi vittorie.

Tutto sommato, The Bear è stato il programma più vincente agli Emmy di quest’anno, collezionando 10 vittorie totali (comprese quelle ottenute durante le cerimonie di Creative Arts). BEEF e The Last of Us di HBO sono seguiti con otto vittorie totali, mentre Succession ha accumulato le sei sopra menzionate.
