Morris Chestnut sta tornando a Fox. Deadline riporta che la star di Rosewood si è unita alla terza stagione di The Resident .
Il dramma medico è incentrato sul residente Dr. Devon Pravesh (Manish Dayal), così come il residente senior Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry) e i loro colleghi al Chastain Park Memorial Hospital. Il cast comprende anche Emily VanCamp, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Jane Leeves, Glenn Morshower e Bruce Greenwood.
In The Resident , Chestnut interpreterà il Dr. Barrett Cain, un neurochirurgo intimidatorio assunto da Red Rock Medical per girare le finanze di Chastain. Cain crede di essere un medico superman, capace di curare malattie paralizzanti.
