Sono state annunciate le nomination per la 74° edizione dei Primetime Emmy Awards e Succession della HBO ha guidato il gruppo con 25 nomination totali, inclusa quella per il miglior film drammatico.
Ted Lasso di Apple TV+ e The White Lotus di HBO hanno raccolto 20 nominations ciascuno, seguiti da Hacks di HBO Max e Only Murders in the Building (stagione 1) di Hulu , che hanno preso 17 nominations ciascuno.
Per outlet, Netflix e HBO vera e propria hanno accumulato il maggior numero di nomination, seguite da Hulu (con un record di 58 cenni), Apple TV+ e Disney+.
Tra le reti televisive, CBS e NBC hanno pareggiato con 29 cenni ciascuna, seguite da 23 di ABC e sei di Fox.
Da notare che la serie di addio di This Is Us della NBC (sorprendentemente) non ha raccolto nomination importanti, solo una per la musica e i testi originali eccezionali.
La 74° edizione degli Emmy Awards andrà in onda in diretta lunedì 12 settembre a partire dalle 20:00 ET/17:00 PT su NBC, oltre che in streaming live per la prima volta su Peacock.
