Once Upon a Time a Hollywood è stato nominato miglior film dalla Critics Choice Association ai 25 premi annuali della Critics’ Choice di domenica sera.

Tra gli altri vincitori c’erano Joaquin Phoenix come miglior attore per Joker , Renée Zellweger come migliore attrice per Judy , Brad Pitt come miglior attore non protagonista per Once Upon a Time a Hollywood, Laura Dern per la migliore attrice non protagonista per Marriage Story e The Irishman per il miglior ensemble.

Inoltre, Bong Joon Ho e Sam Mendes hanno ottenuto il premio come miglior regista rispettivamente per Parasite e 1917 . Quentin Tarantino ha vinto per la migliore sceneggiatura originale di Once Upon a Time a Hollywood, mentre Greta Gerwig ha vinto per la migliore sceneggiatura adattata per Little Women.

Per quanto riguarda la TV, Fleabag è stata nominata la migliore serie comica, Succession è stato scelto come migliore serie drammatica e When They See Us ha ottenuto i migliori riconoscimenti come limited series.

Anche durante il kudocast, Keegan-Michael Key ha consegnato al collega e co protagonista di Dolemite Is My Name  Eddie Murphy con il Critics ‘Choice Lifetime Achievement Award , mentre Ted Danson ha consegnato alla sua collega star di The Good Place Kristen Bell il premio #SeeHer.
